A great surprisingly healthy drink.
Obviously, we do not recommend you to get drunk with red wine, but a glass or two may be good for your health.
Indeed, it contains antioxidants, which is good for your health and helps to fight heart problems.
TIP: You could have one glass of red wine every 2/3 nights but not either to avoid being considered as an alcoholic. Get the most expensive one as this you’ll respect it better with enjoying.
Surprisingly healthy food as a snack! Hell yes! Eating popcorn is not so bad for your health after all.
Popcorn is rich in fibre and that’s why it looks like some very healthy element like broccoli. No let’s not compare the both. Obviously, it’s not the same thing, but if you have a little drink when you go for a movie, it’s not that bad.
TIP: If you are hungry before going to see a movie, you can take a small jar of popcorn as a healthy snack but prefer salty ones even if they make you thirsty.
Surprisingly heathy food which is not so guilty when it’s dark!
As you should know, eating a lot of chocolate is not the best idea, but taking it from time to time is not as bad as you might think. Indeed, it would have antioxidant effects just like red wine.
This would allow you to lower your blood pressure, to improve your vascular function and have a better sleep to rest better.
TIP: You can afford to have one or two squares of dark chocolate for dessert with your coffee for instance.
Surprisingly healthy food from the sea!
This seafood, which is not necessarily appreciated by everyone, is rich in zinc and vitamin D.
They can also help your body to boost your testosterone and they are low in calories.
So, they are some pleasures which can be good for your health with nutrients that your body needs, and they will not make you gain any weight.
TIP: At receptions or parties and when the occasion presents itself, do not hesitate to taste or savour some oysters.
Potatoes and Sweet potatoes

Potatoes are rich in potassium, which is good for your health. But of course, when we say it’s not bad for your health, we’re talking about plain potatoes. It’s not about making them fire to get fries or anything.
Strangely enough, potatoes are foods surprisingly healthy! After all they come from mother nature.
Sweet potatoes are so sweet so good as their names said about it.
TIP: You can mix potatoes with vegetables to get a balanced meal but be careful! No fries which will be filled with oil.
Surprisingly healthy food to share with friends!
Chicken can be considered a healthy nutrient because it contains great amount of proteins, especially chicken wings. You can’t necessarily deprive yourself of meat, but if there is one that we recommend in this case, it’s the grilled chicken wings that won’t increase your cholesterol level. Try just to avoid eating the fat/skin, to make as more healthy as you can.
TIP: If you have a barbecue with friends during the summer, we recommend you eat chicken wings rather than other types of meat.
Surprisingly healthy drink to celebrate!
We said above that drinking alcohol is not necessarily for your health. But in addition to red wine, beer is another alcoholic beverage that is widely consumed.
In fact, beers contain brewer’s yeast which is considered as a probiotic and can help digestion. This yeast is also rich of chromium which can help your body maintain normal blood sugar levels. Finally, it can contain B vitamins.
Careful to respect to drink just one. Beers make you thirsty so go for water after one then. Guinness could contain less calories than others.
TIP: When you are at the bar after work or just on weekends to see friends, we recommend that you take Guinness rather than a lager for example or strong alcohol.

Surprisingly healthy food for an aperitif!
A real quality cheese, can be good for your health because it contains vitamins and omega-3. However, it also contains fat, so it is important not to abuse it.
Try mozzarella, goat cheese, which is one of the lowest calorie cheeses. It could be a surprisingly healthy food but pay attention to not eat too much of it
TIP: From time to time you can indulge yourself to have a “French apéro” with a bit of cheese and wine! Santé!

Indeed, the Koranic pop, red wine or dark chocolate are nutrients that can have good effects on your health, but they are all to be consumed in moderation.
Because even if they have good effects, in large quantities they could be harmful to your health. You can see it, for example, with the bad effects of alcohol on Guinness or the fat in cheese.
You can therefore indulge yourself and not necessarily restrict yourself completely to these elements, but once again, in moderation!
