In our day to day life, many of us meet a lot of stress with deadlines and pressure into the work environment. That’s why it’s important to have a break and get some fresh air from time to time. The best option will be to have a nap which has many great health benefits, but it’s not time wise possible for everyone.

You’ve certainly heard about mindfulness right? However, it might be possible that you are among those persons which are saying: « Meditation is not for me ».
Well, I understand that meditation is not for everyone, nonetheless what about one minute everyday. Not meditation but just deep breathing to evacuate the daily stress. That will lower your cortisol, which can give you many great health benefits as well.
The technique to relieve stress in one minute
Ok, let’s do it now. If you have the time to read this post. Then you have one minute right?
So, take a stop watch or your phone, and let’s breathe.
Breathe deeply for one minute. And count how many breathes you took in this minute. When I say deeply, it’s like you exhale then you stop and you exhale deeper. Then, you relieve and fully empty your lungs.
Once you know the exact number that you got for your one minute deep breathing. Then, you are ready to reproduce and lower your stress hormone daily.

Choose the right moment
Now that you have your number of breathing, you don’t need a watch, a phone or any other devices. So, you just need to find the right time.
It could be after lunch, or in a moment where you feel huge stress coming in. That could be the perfect time to relieve your stress, which will enable you to keep control and perform better.
So, close your eyes and do deep breathing the number that you get to your minute.
Nobody can tell you something for doing that for 60 seconds. So, if you don’t want to do it in front of everyone. Go in the bathroom, where you can isolate yourself. Or if you alright, do it at your desk or outside. You simply need to allow yourself to breathe and release the tension in your body.
After that you will feel better, without meditating. You just took one real minute for yourself.
