Have fun, say no and lose weight
Alright, boys and girls, we are in 2020. It’s time to make good resolutions for this new year, for this new decade. What do you think about losing weight? No, actually better than that… What do you think about having fun, saying no and losing weight?
So what do I mean about that? Can we really lose weight and have fun at the same time? And what does it mean to say no? Don’t you know the power of no?
Alright, so grab a healthy drink, and I’m going to explain to you what do I mean about all that and how you can have fun, say no, and lose weight.
Let’s start with a brief talk on how to lose weight
I’m sure you are not here for that, and you might know how to lose weight, but anyway let me remind you quickly before getting further.
Losing weight it’s “almost” all about consuming fewer calories than you expend. So eating the right foods and all the other things you know about. But you should know that it’s not just about doing sport on a side of that. You certainly have many activities you love that can make you lose weight. No, you don’t really need to lift any weight. It’s mostly about moving your body up. Get up and dance for instance.
So let’s talk about dancing now, and having fun
Dancing is good, dancing burn calories, and I know many people love to have fun and dance. This part can make you fit and healthy. I hope you understand the difference between being fit and being healthy by the way. Many people look fit but are not healthy.
Anyway, you can have fun, lose weight and be healthy.
Dance, and say no. But careful you need to be strong. This one is for the tougher, the ones who want to have fun. Enjoy their life and get fit and healthy.
So how possible is it?
No to what?
No to the calories you don’t need. Ok let’s imagine, you are going to a night out. And you have plenty of friends you go with. They all want to dance and drink. But you tougher you want to lose weight and have fun. So you want to go with them. So go with your friends, but say no when they ask you if you want to drink. I mean sugary drink and alcohol.
The secret is to learn to have fun without saying yes to everything. You can go out in nightclubs and dance, you will burn calories, but careful on what you consume.. so say no to sugary drinks and alcoholic drinks!
You dance, you have fun and you lose weight by burning calories and drinking water, or sparkling water.
Again you have some friends they get out for dinner, you can say yes to that and say no to the dessert. You will have fun, enjoying their companies but saying no to what is no good for your body and your goals.
You don’t have the dessert, or you have fruit instead. But you still have fun!
Be the inspiration on the table and smile. Dance and smile. Go out and smile. In life, there are many opportunities to smile and have fun. It’s just that from time to time we have to say no.
The good thing when you avoid too much sugar is that you get less tired, as you might. So you can go out more often, have more energy so having more fun into life.
When you are at home, add fun, add spices to your plates, add spices to your life. Dance in the shower, sing and enjoy life!
Your goal is in your mind. Ambitious you that you are.
If you don’t know how to dance, go and take some classes. Be adventurous, be bold, say yes for what is good for you.
Let’s talk about smiling and being positive
By being positive, you will not be confronted with stress. Stress is not good as it can increase your cortisol level and that can holding your path to lose weight.
Studies have shown that by being happy you can lose weight. More on that, by laughing you burn calories. So again have fun and lose weight. By simply being positive, you can get less sick, so enjoy more life.
You have many ways to be positive and again from time to time, you have to say no. Say no to people who drag you down. Go with the ones, all the time up for a smile, or for some laughter. People who give you good vibes and energy.
Be the inspiration around
Being fit and healthy is not bad. It is fun, it is a way of life. All you need is to be creative. People don’t know what to do often so they are doing the same thing all the time.
Be the inspiration. Ask your friends to go for a run, to go for a climb, to go for a walk, to go for tea and going there with the bike.
Go for a trek, reach the summit, explore, go up to this mountain. Jump into the water if it’s not too high. Be the weird one who often smiles. Be the fool which makes people laugh by saying no from time to time. By offering different activities which can be good for you and the people you care around.
Be active and smile. Travel, have fun, get your bike and ride, say yes to life, say no from time to time.
Have fun, say no and lose weight could it be the new method to be happy, fit and healthy?
